Today I received a great question from a Darting.com customer. Daniel asked: I am opening a pub and I want to hang a dart board. The lay out, however, makes it somewhat dangerous for the patrons. I am thinking of using "soft tip" darts. I also hope that this type of dart will not ruin the walls. Suggestions? I have no access to electricity where I want to hang the dartboard... Well Daniel, that is a great question and I have an answer for you. Soft tip darts will bounce off of the walls, but if they are thrown with a heavy thrust they might damage wall. Heavy felt around the dart board would protect the walls nicely and is a suggestion. The best dartboard would be a battery operated one if he does not have electricity in the area, suggest the GLD 777 #40-0000 or the GLD 787 #42-0001 also the Bull Blaster is an inexpensive simple style dartboard. The majority of bars do not have steel tip darts to protect their patrons.

A new game Wimbledon
I get asked a lot "What are some new games I can play with my friends?". I often share this game when I am confronted with that question. WimbledonPlayers: Two players
Darts: Two Each (when receiving, only one dart is used)
Play:
This game is based on the premise of lawn tennis. The players toss a coin to determine who "serves" or throws first. In order to win the point the server must score a double or a treble on a number he has nominated. If he scores a single, the "ball" is still in play and the second player throws to "return" the serve.
To win a point the player returning the serve must hit a double or a treble with a single keeping the ball in play.
If the server misses the nominated number twice, then he receives a "double fault" and loses the point. Once the "ball" is in play, any player that misses the nominated number loses the point.
A bullseye for either player is a winning stroke.
In the second game, the second player serves and the match continues. Just like lawn tennis, matches consist of three sets of five games.
