SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Electrical Engineer works in a hands-on environment as a member of a cross-functional engineering team, supporting the development of new products and the improvement of existing products. TheElectrical Engineer is involved in the product development process from initial concept, through the development, testing and manufacturing phases. The list of duties and responsibilities is not all- inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and development of next-generation ZigBee products, including, power management circuits, MCU interfaces, and digital circuits.
- Integration of signal conditioning circuits, MCUs, and digital circuits with RF circuit/modules.
- Drive engineering design verification, including, writing and executing verification plans, and documenting results.
- Testing and evaluation for co-existence of legacy and/or third-party products.
- Research design solutions for cost effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering .
- 5+ years experience developing digital/analog technology.
- Proficient translating product requirement specifications to design requirements and authoring engineering verification test plans.
- Proficient managing a project, defining and monitoring the scope of work, setting milestones, and executing within budget and schedule.
- Experience designing analog/digital, low-voltage and battery power management circuits, schematic capture, circuit board layout, design strategies for signal integrity, and performing electrical measurements.
- Experience utilizing and programming test equipment to perform module and system level testing.
- Experience modeling circuit/system utilizing design and engineering software tools such as MatLab, LTSpice, and others.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters of Science - Electrical Engineering (MSEE).
- Experience developing and integrating embedded software (firmware).
- Experience developing ZigBee-based modules and systems.
- Experience with power electronic circuits.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of applicable codes and standards, such as UL and IEEE 802.14.
